I didn’t expect to start over in my late 40’s…

My heart was racing, my chest was tight, and my stomach felt like it was flipping. I was silently praying my boss would cancel the weekly meeting. My blood pressure was through the roof, and my nervous system was begging me to get out. I was burnt out. Not just tired—burnt to the core.

I had spent years in fast-paced roles—coordinating volunteers, managing departments, running a bridal boutique, selling Mary Kay, and most recently, working in a hospital where the stress never ended. I had given my energy to every task, every team, every cause.

Until my body said, “No more.”

Leaving behind what wasn’t serving me anymore

At 47, I walked away from a job that paid well but cost me my peace. I didn’t know exactly what was next, but I knew I couldn’t keep sacrificing my health for a paycheck. I craved freedom, creativity, and calm. I wanted to build something meaningful—something mine.

And so, I gave myself permission to dream again.

Starting small, learning big

Let’s be real—building a digital business doesn’t happen overnight. I’m not a millionaire sipping lattes in Bali (yet 😜). I still work a part-time job because I like getting out of the house and seeing people. But I also spend every day moving closer to a life I’m building on my own terms.

I learned Canva, social media strategy, affiliate marketing, and digital product creation. I opened my Beacons.ai store and created content to help other women see what’s possible—especially after 40.

There were days I felt too tired to think. Days I doubted everything. Days I only had 20 minutes of focus because of brain fog or low B12. But here’s the truth…

  • You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
  • You don’t need perfect energy to make progress.
  • You just have to say “yes” to yourself—and take one small step at a time.

Why I do this (and who I do it for)

If you’re over 40 and thinking, “Is this all there is?”—I’m here to tell you: it’s not too late.

I want to inspire women who feel stuck, tired, overlooked, or unsure where to begin. Women who are burnt out, newly single, empty nesting, or just craving more freedom in their day.

This new chapter isn’t about hustle or perfection. It’s about peace, purpose, and possibility.

Whether I’m helping a business owner with virtual assistant services, creating digital products that empower, or sharing my story on Instagram—my mission is simple: help women build a life they don’t need to escape from.

Let’s stay connected

If anything in my story resonated with you—know that I’m cheering for you.
